In spring 2021, we sowed a perennial and certified wildflower mixture on our company premises. This is our contribution to biodiversity in our neighbourhood.

We also make a contribution to CO2 reduction on a “small scale”.Our stationery is made from recycled paper.By supporting a climate project in the Black Forest, the paper is also CLIMATE EUTRAL.

Heating and cooling is provided by radiant ceiling panels which are supplied by an air heat pump. The active ventilation is equipped with heat exchangers to minimise energy losses. All the lighting is LED technology.

The PV system installed on the roof of our hall has an output of 100 kW. This means that we generate a large proportion of the energy we use ourselves. We save around 70 tonnes

The topic of sustainability is close to our hearts. We have therefore anchored the topic in our mission statement and pursue clearly defined goals with our sustainability strategy. UNSERE VISION: WAS WIR TUN, TUN WIR

Despite rising energy prices, we will only use green electricity in 2023.The electricity comes from TÜV SÜD-certified European hydropower plants.This will save us a further 44 tonnes of CO2 compared to the average electricity generation

We have extended our 100kW PV system by a further 28kW.With the almost 130kW, we are now saving around 90 tonnes of CO2 per year.That’s something to be proud of!

With the newly installed units for electronic power optimisation, we are reducing our annual power consumption by 5-10%. This is another building block in our sustainability programme to reduce our CO2 footprint.
